Administration & Customer Service
The Customer Service Department is a busy, fast moving department whose main target is to ensure that all customers receive a first class service. The main tasks involve processing orders, answering customer queries, investigating ways to improve the service and problem solving when things don’t quite go to plan.
Customer Services is split over several sites with teams dedicated to serving the UK & Export customers. Every day has different challenges to overcome and the different tasks are rotated around the teams to ensure skillsets are maintained and the variety keeps everybody motivated and engaged. Communication is key to providing a good customer service, so liaising with different departments including transport, logistics and planning is vital to get the answers needed to satisfy customer requirements.
At the very heart of Customer Services is the people - everyone is professional, friendly and willing to help out. It is very rewarding when customers are happy with the deliveries, especially if extra effort has been made to do something that is different to our standard business processes. We work well as a team, both within the department and as an organisation as a whole.
